Senior Property & Casualty Auditor

Department: Internal Audit    Location: Peachtree Corners, GA

About the role

Davies’s Property and Casualty Audit Solutions division conducts approximately 300 audits annually, covering various types within the Property & Casualty industry, including claim audits, underwriting file reviews, TPA audits, Cover holder MGA/carrier audits, reinsurance audits, premium audits, and compliance audits. This is a full-time, home-based position that may require some travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized audit plans tailored to client needs and preferences, ensuring a personalized auditing experience.
• Conduct complex and high-level audits.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external colleagues at all levels.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Independently perform comprehensive audits across different areas of property and casualty insurance, including claims, underwriting, and compliance.
• Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with various departments to implement audit recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (associate or bachelor’s degree acceptable) or a combination of education and experience.
• Technical underwriting experience required.
• 10 years of multiline Property & Casualty claims experience preferred.
• 5 years of Property & Casualty claims auditing experience desired.
• Experience with the London market is a plus.
• Independently perform detailed claim audits.
• Assist lead auditors on complex, high-level audit assignments to gain experience and develop skills.
• Draft accurate and comprehensive audit reports.
• Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of property and casualty claims and underwriting processes.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both independently and within a team.
• Some travel required.
