AllView Real Estate is a fast-growing full-service real estate firm focusing on property management and real estate sales in Southern California. We manage over $750M in real estate across property management, brokerage, investment, and construction services. Our culture is built on six core values: Collaboration, Integrity, Pursue Excellence, Innovation, Compassion, and Service.

About the role

We are looking for an intelligent, reliable, and highly detailed person to own our financial operations. This is a remote, full-time role open to candidates in Mexico, Central America, and South America. The ideal candidate will have real accounting expertise to own a P&L, build forecasts, and translate financial data into actionable insights for our executive team. A critical part of this role is overseeing third-party accounting firms that handle day-to-day bookkeeping—you will review their work, catch errors, and ensure accountability.

Responsibilities

Financial Oversight

  • Own the P&L for AllView and Trustie, our construction and turnover services company, with full accountability for accuracy and performance.
  • Review and audit the work of third-party accounting firms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Build and maintain financial forecasts to support company growth and executive decision-making.
  • Translate financial data into clear insights for the executive team, flagging trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analyze financial statements, fix mapping errors, and maintain General Ledger accuracy.
  • Manage 1099s, W2s, and insurance audits.
  • Build recurring budgets and track actual versus budget spending as the company scales.
  • Answer difficult financial questions and create Financial SOPs.
  • Pay property taxes, FTB withholdings, and mortgages accurately and on time.

Daily Property & Corporate Accounting

  • Perform tenant ledger corrections, oversee security deposit refunds, and correct property GL errors in AppFolio.
  • Cut hard checks, enter time-sensitive bills, and manage corporate AP and reimbursements in QuickBooks.
  • Process time-sensitive vendor payments and calculate complex commissions (lease, BDM, and internal brokerage).
  • Respond to financial inquiries from owners, vendors, and property managers clearly and professionally.
  • Manage vendor onboarding, including collecting W9s and COIs.

Specialized Real Estate Accounting

  • Review and approve tenant credits, reversals, and prorated utility bills.
  • Handle RUBS, CAM reconciliations, and Section 8 owner accounting.
  • Send monthly owner statements and manage utility start/stop services and prorated billing.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of accounting experience, with deep knowledge of California property trust accounting laws.
  • Proven experience owning a full P&L, building financial forecasts, and advising leadership on financial strategy.
  • Expert-level proficiency in AppFolio and QuickBooks Online.
  • Excellent written and spoken English for daily communication with US owners, vendors, and property managers.
  • Comfortable supporting accounting across two entities: AllView and Trustie (construction and turnover services).
  • High integrity, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines without reminders.
  • Collaborative mindset with a talent for explaining technical details clearly.
  • Detail-oriented, with a track record of catching and fixing errors proactively.

Benefits

  • Work independently with no micromanagement in a stable, professional team environment.
  • Long-term role with direct impact on company growth.
  • Competitive pay and paid time off for expert-level professionals.

Pay

$25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. Eligible for a 10% annual bonus potential, paid out quarterly based on company performance.

Schedule

  • 2 weeks of paid time off per year.
  • Paid holidays.
