Senior Property Accountant

Seeking a Property Accountant for a real estate company in the Irvine area. This role focuses on property accounting for a portfolio of holdings.

Responsibilities

• Drive the month-end close process, including bank reconciliations and journal entries for prepaids, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Handle audit requests and special projects.
• Ensure accurate recording of revenues and expenses.
• Perform month-end activities such as journal entries, general ledger (GL) and account reconciliation, and accruals.
• Conduct account analysis, including monthly flux analysis and variance analysis between actual and budget.

Requirements

• Prior real estate industry experience.
• Familiarity with Yardi (highly desired).
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.

Compensation for this role depends on factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and geographic location. As required by local law, the salary range is disclosed in this posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
