Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end close, journal entries, and general ledger activity.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaid schedules, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Maintain financial reporting packages and variance analyses.
  • Track capital projects, cash activity, and construction-related costs.
  • Aid with budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting.
  • Prepare audit schedules and lender/ownership reporting.
  • Review lease-related billings and expense recoveries.
  • Partner with property management to resolve accounting issues.
  • Support process improvements and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of property or real estate accounting experience.
  • Experience with ERP/property accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, or similar preferred).
  • Strong Excel skills and understanding of GAAP.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay

$100,000-110,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
