Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close, journal entries, and general ledger activity.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaid schedules, and fixed asset accounting.
- Maintain financial reporting packages and variance analyses.
- Track capital projects, cash activity, and construction-related costs.
- Aid with budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting.
- Prepare audit schedules and lender/ownership reporting.
- Review lease-related billings and expense recoveries.
- Partner with property management to resolve accounting issues.
- Support process improvements and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of property or real estate accounting experience.
- Experience with ERP/property accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, or similar preferred).
- Strong Excel skills and understanding of GAAP.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Pay
$100,000-110,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
