Responsibilities
- Lead civil conveyance design for water, storm, and sanitary sewer projects from preliminary design to detailed design, bidding, and construction inspection.
- Plan, organize, and manage the production of project deliverables to ensure on-time delivery and technical quality within budget.
- Review your team’s work and provide technical guidance on design approach and challenges, engineering calculations, design drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
- Mentor to developing professionals to guide their career development objectives.
- Prepare technical evidenced proposals and reports as project issues arise with clients, contractors, equipment suppliers/vendors or reviewing agencies.
- Assist the Business Center Practice Leader with developing technical approaches for Statements of Qualifications and Proposals and assist with preparing the technical aspects for project interviews conducted by clients.
- Work in a manner to protect the health and safety of Stantec employees, clients, and the public by following company health, safety, and security guidelines and policies.
Requirements
- Experience and expertise with the design of conveyance projects in urbanized, congested areas.
- Experience with the design and delivery of water, sewer, and drainage infrastructure 24-inches in diameter and larger.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, market knowledge, business acumen combined with innovative ideas, and a successful history of client relations and account management.
Credentials
- Master of Science in Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in these fields will also be considered.
- Licensed Professional Engineer, or a combination of education and experience to qualify for licensure within one year of hire.

Pay
Pay Range: Locations in CO, HI, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Min Salary $ 114,400.00 - Max Salary $ 171,600.00 Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
