Senior Project Support Specialist

Job Description

As a member of the IT Program Management team, the Sr. Project Support Specialist will provide IT Project Coordination Support for projects across SICDS. This position is responsible for working with the IT Project Leads and their teams, providing support to ensure the projects are completed on time and as efficiently as possible. They will also support other endeavors as needed by the Chief of SICDS.

The successful candidate will anticipate team and customer needs and independently manage competing priorities.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Experience developing, documenting, and improving administrative workflows and operational processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Must meet NASA suitability requirements, including background investigation and citizenship/permanent residency requirements.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of related professional experience; or
• 8+ years of related professional experience in lieu of degree.

Location

This position requires a minimum of three (3) days per week onsite. Employees may be eligible to telework up to two (2) days per week, subject to customer approval.
