Position Overview
Amatriot is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler for our support to the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL), Edwards, AFB, CA. The support would include reviewing site wide test schedules, identifying resource conflicts, resource needs and ensuring test sites are all supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced level scheduling support for a customer test area.
- Maintain an overview of all projects on the site and provide guidance to improve and enhance schedules.
- Participate in training junior staff schedulers and overview of scheduling principles to both Contract and DoD personnel.
- Identify add-on software that will enhance Project reporting.
- Maintain, status, and control project schedules using MS Project to include documenting changes and revisions to the project schedule, gathering status information and inputting the data into the project schedule.
- Identify project milestones and activities necessary to achieve project objectives
- Meet with all layers of support to ensure the schedules are tracking.
- Identify and document schedule and programmatic interdependencies among project activities and related external projects
- Develop project logic networks and estimate, validate and analyze project activity sequencing, duration and resource requirements
- Interface with project resource analysts to ensure correlation of project schedules
- Conduct analyses of project schedules
- Monitor contractor schedules and scheduling systems to ensure compliance with the Schedule Management Plan, SOW, and CDRLs
- Perform schedule analysis to determine overall project performance, variances and risk areas
- Follow Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and schedule hierarchy structure
- Provide what-if scenarios, work around and recovery plans, critical path, and vertical and horizontal traceability
Qualifications
- Education: BS/BA + 5-7 years of experience or equivalent
