£43,231 - £52,679 (Band 6), full time (36 hours per week), fixed-term contract/secondment to March 2027. Hybrid working in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
About the role
We are seeking a proactive Senior Project Officer with excellent project management skills to support the work of the Primary Care Improvement Portfolio. The successful candidate will operationally plan, co-ordinate, and deliver programmes across a variety of portfolio workstreams, ensuring the successful completion of activities within agreed parameters such as timescales, cost, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Plan, co-ordinate, and deliver programmes across multiple workstreams
- Ensure activities are completed within agreed timescales, cost, and quality parameters
- Engage effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Manage projects and events, including high-level report writing
- Develop resources and digital content, including webpages
- Contribute to governance processes, including information governance, risk management, financial management, and staff governance
- Travel throughout Scotland as required
Requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent knowledge and experience in a similar role within NHS or another statutory sector setting
- Proficiency in co-ordinating and implementing demanding programme schedules
- Excellent verbal, written, and digital communication skills
- Experience in project and event management
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Insights into qualitative and quantitative analytical skills (highly desirable)
- Drive to develop yourself and others
