About the role

Thomas & Hutton is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Engineer in the Atlanta, GA metro area. This position requires extensive experience with municipal water and wastewater infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop project staff, supporting and evaluating each individual towards achieving their maximum potential.
  • Complete projects successfully, on-time, on-budget, under broad objectives and limits.
  • Analyze, coordinate, and manage several large or complex projects simultaneously.
  • Use advanced knowledge of project tracking software (Vision/Microsoft Project).
  • Utilize Microsoft Office software.
  • Show strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Communicate effectively and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
  • Experience in the southeastern United States, particularly Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Masters in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
  • 15+ years of experience designing municipal water and wastewater projects.
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, and Microsoft Office.
  • Preferred experience with InfoWorks WS and/or InfoWater modeling software by Innovyze.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in project management software.

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of project tracking software (Vision/Microsoft Project).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word/Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
