Senior Project Manager, Water/Wastewater

The ideal candidate would bring at least 3 years of project management experience in water/wastewater large diameter pipeline design. Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the design and construction of infrastructure projects for the Water/Wastewater practice.
• Support preparation of scopes of work and budgets.
• Conduct studies, prepare reports, and read/develop construction plans and specifications.
• Manage and work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams and subconsultants.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to develop project scope, personnel, budgets, schedules.
• Manage other consultant teams and the workload of design staff including Engineers, EITSs, and technical staff.
• Support construction administration of projects and lead or assist permitting efforts.
• Manage design and plan production as well as manage clients and supervise technical staff.
• Develop a network of municipal clients and teaming partners.
• Report on project progress and budgets.
• Work with the Water/Wastewater Team Leader and Operations Managers in business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in civil engineering or ABET accredited equivalent engineering degree (preferably in civil or environmental engineering).
• At least 3 years of project management experience in water/wastewater large diameter pipeline design.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Water/Wastewater Professional Engineer (PE) designing large diameter pipeline.
• Professional Engineer License (PE) in the State of Texas.
• Water/wastewater treatment, pump/lift stations and water storage experience desirable, but not required.
• Must be proficient with conducting studies, preparing reports, and reading/developing construction plans and specifications.
• Previous experience in coordinating project deliverables, managing project budgets and schedule, and identifying resolution of issues.
