Senior Project Manager, Traffic

Responsibilities
- Deliver traffic engineering for public and private clients
- Manage traffic engineering projects and ensure quality of products and conformance to budget
- Prepare and/or review traffic design and construction documents for traffic signal, roadway illumination, signing and pavement marking based on the state of Florida and national standards
- Conduct and/or oversee traffic modeling including traffic forecasting, travel demand modeling, and microscoping (VISSIM/CORSIM) modeling
- Perform traffic engineering and safety analysis and develop technical memorandums
- Supervise the work of other engineers and technicians
- Actively participate in business development, pursuing new and developing existing client relationships, focusing on innovative ideas and trends
- Develop action plans to identify potential opportunities and track progress
- Research and implement emerging technologies to offer value-added services to clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited school
- 10+ years of experience with traffic engineering and related design packages
- Florida PE license or the ability to obtain within six months
- 2+ years of experience working on Florida projects
- PREFERRED: PTOE and RSP certifications
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Experience with design/analysis software packages including MicroStation, AutoCAD, Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, CORSIM
Qualifications
- Remote work available, must reside and work from Florida

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and best practices

Schedule
Full-time positions are typically Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed. Part-time positions may vary based on project requirements.
