Senior Project Manager - Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health

Responsibilities

  • Cook up individual and group training sessions and offer technical assistance to community implementation sites to ensure the smooth running of infant and early childhood mental health consultation services.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders and state organizations to devise strategic approaches that enhance policy, funding, and workforce development efforts, thereby improving access to high-quality infant and early childhood mental health consultation services across Texas.
  • Partner with team members and staff in related early childhood projects to support training, communication, and evaluation efforts that bolster state capacity.
  • Work closely with community partners to manage budgeting, invoicing, and subaward processing in collaboration with the Principal Investigator.
  • Participate in regular project management meetings to maintain up-to-date work plans.
  • Contribute to the development of programmatic reports for funding agencies.
  • Engage in evaluations and other program reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, public health, or related health and human service field with at least 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Values the contributions of others in the work environment.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in social work, psychology, public health, or related health and human service field with at least 5 or more years of experience in early childhood systems.
  • Experience in infant and early childhood consultation and technical assistance.
  • Strong research, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience in state policy or program development.
