The Senior Project Manager at Andrews Cooper specializes in delivering cutting-edge engineering solutions in the HardTech space, collaborating with industry leaders in Consumer Technology, Medical Technology, Clean Technology, and Automation & Robotics. The role involves managing the product development lifecycle and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project teams through coordination with Department Managers and other Project Managers.
  • Develop and communicate detailed project plans using AC/Client project management tools.
  • Escalate potentially serious client issues and work with AC/Client management to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Lead and develop complex multidisciplinary projects throughout the product lifecycle, from identification of need to final delivery and acceptance.
  • Accountable for project success, including road mapping, resource management, deliverables, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide oversight and leadership to the project team, including facilitating regular project and design review meetings, addressing technical and commercial risks, and ensuring final deliverables satisfy the customer.
  • Champion adherence to standards, processes, tools, templates, and best practices that build and sustain the AC brand. Support the improvement of AC tools and processes as a collaborative team.
  • Manage client and AC intellectual property including execution of NDAs with vendors and sub-contractors.
  • Foster a culture of mentorship by working with AC/Client management to support coaching and growth of AC/Client team members.
  • Ensure customers are delighted with all AC products and services. Take responsibility when AC performance falls short and work collaboratively to make it right.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Project Management, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional hands-on experience in Project Management.
  • Experience working in various stages of the product development lifecycle.
  • Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
  • Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Background checks are required.
  • Exposure to and Understanding of Earned Value Management.
  • Supplier Management Experience.
  • Experience working with CAD or ticketing systems like PDM, Teamcenter, or JIRA.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus.

Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering, communications, business, or project management is a bonus.
  • Experience writing proposals and SOWs.

Pay

The salary range for this position is based on national rates. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base Salary: $107,000.00 - $175,000.00.
