Senior Project Manager - Supply Chain

This role delivers projects across large, complex cross-functional processes by leveraging appropriate tools to develop sustained improvements that help management achieve business goals and yield increased operational and financial return. The position focuses on strategic initiatives, productivity efforts, and cross-functional projects to reduce costs and drive enterprise growth. Telecommuting is allowed from anywhere in the continental U.S.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale, cross-functional, complex process improvement projects while scoping other projects in the pipeline.
• Lead charter development, stakeholder analysis, process design, improvement solutions, testing, and implementation plans using appropriate methodologies.
• Work with users to ensure accurate and complete definition of business requirements.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, milestones, and critical-path dates; identify and mitigate issues and risks associated with the project schedule.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and with expected functionality.
• Enforce processes and procedures, including time and cost management, documentation, and change management.
• Coordinate ongoing communication between the team and management.
• Design and collaborate with stakeholders to track metrics and key performance indicators for each project.
• Develop and coach internal project team members on methodologies, project requirements, and timelines through clear communication.
• Manage relationships with business partners and sponsors to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify, design, plan, implement, validate, and sustain new technology investments and material handling equipment to optimize the warehouse network and support business growth.
• Identify, plan, and execute process efficiency opportunities, including simplification, standardization, implementation, and sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or foreign degree equivalent).
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• 5 years of project management, process management, business process improvement, or value stream mapping experience.
• 5 years of experience with project management standard concepts, best practices, and procedures, including planning and delivering projects.
• 5 years of experience with project management/planning software such as MS Project and Smartsheet.
• 5 years of experience managing a portfolio of projects simultaneously.
• 5 years of experience in retail or supply chain operations.
• Domestic travel up to 25% of the time to support project implementations across warehouses in OH, TX, MI, KY, NV, PA, and IL.

Pay

$140,760 per year.
