Senior Project Manager - Substations
Overview
Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager (focused on Substation/T&D) to join our Power Delivery practice in Charlotte, NC!
Responsibilities
- Leading a practice specializing in Power Delivery (transmission, substation, and/or power studies) engineering services.
- Creating a vision for growth for a Power Delivery practice while growing their own projects, clients, and team around them.
- Operating with integrity and sound business principles.
- Providing vision, business planning, and strategy.
- Establishing goals.
- Building and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Having open communication with your partners and team.
- Growing and leading a land development practice.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience managing substation projects.
- Familiar with the relevant standards, regulations, and best practices for power delivery projects.
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work.
- Able to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner.
