About the role
Michels Pacific Energy, Inc. is a sought-after energy contractor focused on strengthening the West Coast's power grid. As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage large complex projects or multiple large-sized projects, directly supervise team members, and ensure all aspects of project success.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers.
- Directly supervise Associate Project Managers and Project Managers; plan, assign, and direct work; provide feedback; address complaints and resolve problems.
- Build and sustain relationships with clients and general/sub-contractors.
- Confer with project staff to outline work plans and assign duties and responsibilities; hold productive meetings and present information to both small and large groups.
- Manage contract details from initial conversations through final project close-out; serve as the point of contact for customers on contractual matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, 7+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
- Experience with power/utility and substation projects.
- Experience with Project Management software (Primavera, Project, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- PMP, PE certifications is desired.
- Valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles that may be driven and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel.

Pay
The anticipated salary range is $154,000 - $231,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
