Summary
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager I to lead projects, manage finances, and interact with clients. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree in construction-related fields, at least eight years of experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise project financial health
- Develop and maintain project financial and equipment projections
- Allocate project estimates, determine cost codes, and approve invoices
- Provide financials and billings to Accounting, create monthly owner billings
- Handle subcontracts and suppliers, manage budget and selections
- Lead Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, assign tasks and train
- Serve as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representatives
- Resolve site concerns, handle change orders, and obtain necessary approvals
- Manage schedule, budget, quality, risk, safety, and compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum eight years of construction management/project management or related experience
- Ability to manage multiple, large complex projects
- Active listening skills and effective communication
- Basic understanding of construction law and business practices
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, project, and relevant web applications
- Positive professional attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
- Current driver’s license
- Ability to travel up to 100%

Pay Range
The base pay range for this role is $144,300 - $216,500. Actual range varies based on location and may be higher.
