About the role
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for providing project oversight while promoting and maintaining a strong, proactive safety culture on site. They will also oversee the creation and evaluation of bid packages to secure competitive subcontractor proposals, facilitate regular subcontractor meetings, review monthly billing, manage documentation and approvals, lead cost-tracking efforts, monitor financial performance, and act as the company’s representative during subcontractor negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Provide project oversight while promoting and maintaining a strong, proactive safety culture on site.
- Oversee the creation and evaluation of bid packages to secure competitive subcontractor proposals.
- Facilitate regular subcontractor meetings on the job site to help ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Review monthly billing and manage the documentation and approvals required to maintain timely project funding.
- Lead cost-tracking efforts, including contracts, purchase orders, and scope adjustments, to support overall project goals.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and monitor the financial performance of the project.
- Act as the company's representative during subcontractor negotiations.
Requirements
- Background in Construction Project Management, Assistant Project Management, or Project Engineering.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, technologies, and project details.
- Prior experience managing projects for a general contractor.
- Ability to thoroughly review and interpret construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Clear and effective communication skills with teams, partners, and stakeholders such as management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
- Familiarity with key skilled trades, including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site preparation, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical systems.

- Bonus: $13,000 - $16,000 (in the first year)
