Senior Project Manager - Solid Waste

About the role

SCS Engineers is looking for a Senior Project Manager to serve solid waste clients and facilities in northeastern and east central Wisconsin (Green Bay and Fox Cities area).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to existing client relationships and grow new ones.
• Manage projects from planning through operations, including landfill, transfer station, and material recovery facility projects.
• Engage with clients by responding to inquiries, assessing needs, and developing tailored proposals.
• Care for and expand client relationships by maintaining connections and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Coordinate staffing to ensure quality work and project profitability.
• Integrate with other Environmental Services and Solid Waste Services staff across the company.
• Collaborate with Upper Midwest colleagues and SCS national technical experts to develop strategies for expanding contributions to client success.
• Review RFPs, assist with go/no go decisions, and draft/review proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field of engineering required.
• Minimum of 15 years of related work experience required.
• Minimum of 10 years working at an environmental consulting firm preferred.
• Business Development experience in the Central U.S. market preferred.
• Wisconsin P.E. registration or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months required.
• Competent with MS Office and other computer software normally used in environmental consulting.
• Experience directing staff using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil3D design software is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record in good standing required.

Qualifications

• Project management and business development experience.

USD $110,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.
