Senior Project Manager, Site Development

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of site development projects, ensuring they are completed correctly and efficiently. This role involves close collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to manage project execution from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage crews, working closely with the site superintendent.
• Maintain constant communication with clients to ensure project goals are met.
• Initiate projects, including handling submittals, Miss Utility, and safety paperwork.
• Manage all project aspects, including creating and tracking change orders, problem-solving with the superintendent and client, and project closeout.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, handle monthly billing, and ensure accurate project documentation.
• Order required materials for specific projects and verify accuracy with the estimator.
• Track daily production goals with foremen and superintendents using an Excel production template.
• Perform takeoffs and prepare proposals for change orders.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager (APM) and/or Project Manager (PM) within turnkey site development.
• Data Center experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read civil plans and knowledge of different types of site work.
• Strong administrative skills, including reviewing cover sheets, costing sheets, AIA forms, and tracking change orders.
• Experience communicating with clients and/or General Contractors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam; experience with project management software is a plus.
