Senior Project Manager/SAFe Release Train Engineer - Clearance Required

About the role

Cydecor is seeking a Senior Project Manager / SAFe Release Train Engineer to support a large U.S. Navy readiness reporting program. This role requires hands-on experience and the ability to step in and lead from day one.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate PI Planning end to end
• Lead ART events including ART Sync, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt
• Own the program board, dependency tracking, risks, and impediment backlog
• Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile teams
• Help establish SAFe ceremonies, playbooks, templates, and repeatable practices
• Cook up and coordinate across development, test, operations, and security gates to keep delivery moving

Requirements

• 10+ years managing complex software or IT development efforts
• 3+ years as a Release Train Engineer with ownership of PI Planning and ART events
• Current SAFe Release Train Engineer certification
• Strong experience coaching teams and standing up or running an ART
• Ability to serve as the program's SAFe subject matter expert with little to no ramp-up

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated or security-gated delivery environments
• Navy readiness reporting or prior U.S. Navy experience
• DoD or Navy software program experience
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or CMMI experience

Skills

• SAFe Practice Consultant certification
• Azure DevOps experience
• Navy readiness reporting or prior U.S. Navy experience

$145,000–$170,000

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day
