Release Train Engineer Senior w/Top Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

• Manages and optimizes the flow of value through the ART and Solution Train using various tools, such as the Program and Solution Kanban and other information radiators.
• Facilitates Program Increment (PI) planning readiness by fostering the preparation of vision and backlogs, and through pre- and post-PI Planning meetings.
• Facilitates the PI planning event.
• Affords tracking the execution of features and capabilities.
• Affords economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary.
• Coaches leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets.
• Helps manage risks and dependencies.
• Escalates and tracks impediments.
• Improves the flow of value through value streams using the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps.
• Facilitates system demos and solution demos.
• Drives relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assesses the agility level of the ART and Solution Train and helps them improve.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience
• Experience using Agile methodologies, particularly Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Minimum of 4 years experience utilizing Jira to track work for the ART.
• Previously served as a Release Train Engineer on a program of similar scope with 50+ FTE
• Certifications: Current SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) Certification
• Bachelor’s Degree in an IT or related field is preferred
• Clearance: Must have a current, active Top Secret security clearance with the capability to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
• Desired: Current SAFe Agilist (SA) Certification
