Senior Project Manager, Real Estate Construction

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager, Real Estate Construction to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will oversee capital construction initiatives that support operational growth, facility improvements, and long-term business needs. You will guide projects from early feasibility through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality goals are met. The position partners closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver well-executed outcomes across a complex portfolio.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead capital construction projects from initiation to closeout
• Evaluate potential development sites for feasibility and cost
• Develop comprehensive project scopes, schedules, and budgets
• Coordinate efforts among architects, engineers, and contractors
• Monitor project budgets and maintain strong financial stewardship
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Facilitate project meetings and provide clear stakeholder updates

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing commercial or industrial projects
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred
• Expertise in capital budgeting and cost controls
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and building systems
• Experience with project management systems such as Procore or Microsoft Project
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• PMP, CCM, or LEED certification is a plus

Pay

$112,700 – $187,800 annually
