Senior Project Manager, Rail + Transit Design
Job Summary
TYLin is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality Rail + Transit design projects and programs. This role offers the opportunity to partner with some of the most respected transit agencies in the U.S., while strengthening your leadership profile and mentoring the next generation of engineers.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Lead and deliver complex Rail + Transit design projects, from early planning through final design.
Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, ensuring quality and exceptional service.
Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers, fostering growth and career development.
Collaborate with senior leaders nationwide to pursue new opportunities and strengthen our Rail + Transit practice.
Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and professional associations in New York and beyond.
Play a key role in project pursuits, including proposal development, strategy, and presentations.
What You Bring
A degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license in NY strongly preferred.
Proven success delivering Rail + Transit engineering design projects, programs, or on-call assignments for major agencies.
10+ years of relevant experience, with deep expertise in Rail + Transit projects.
Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and motivating teams.
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
Ability to balance technical delivery, business development, and team growth responsibilities.

Additional Information
TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $150,000 - $230,000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
