Senior Project Manager, Promotional Medical Education

About the role
This role keeps teams aligned, manages scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and client approvals, and partners closely with Account, Finance, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget. This is a hybrid role, based in any of our US offices—including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, Lambertville, or San Francisco—or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day project management for assigned campaigns from initiation through closeout, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, status reports, and resource plans across multiple complex deliverables and teams
- Partner with Account, Finance, internal teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to keep work moving and ensure clear communication at every stage
- Monitor budgets weekly, support revenue recognition and invoicing activities, and flag financial risks or scope changes early
- Lead project meetings, manage client review and approval processes, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and relevant guidelines
- Identify, escalate, and help resolve risks, timeline conflicts, resource constraints, and project issues
- Support business development efforts by contributing project management guidance, budgets, timelines, and implementation planning as needed
- Participate in project audits and help reinforce consistent project management processes and best practices
- Coach, mentor, and train project management team members and contribute to onboarding or discipline-specific training
- Share best practices through the Project Management Community of Practice and contribute to process improvements or standard operating procedures
- Participate in hiring activities for the project management discipline, such as panel interviews or job shadows
- Develop and empower people, manage change, build relationships and influence others, build and lead effective teams, and achieve results
- Occasional overnight or weekend travel may be required, up to 10%

Qualifications
- 4+ years of project management experience
- 3+ years of experience in budget development/management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related business experience
- Experience leading multiple cross-functional project teams and deliverable types, as well as successful management of campaign budgets
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with structured project management methodology; PMP certification preferred
- Strong communication, organization, leadership, problem-solving, and client-readiness skills
- Prior experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry or agency preferred
Pay
$90,000.00-$100,000.00. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.

Schedule
For employees located within a one-hour commute of a Real Chemistry office, we require in-person attendance two days per week, either from a Real Chemistry office or when working onsite with clients. Employees in regions without a nearby office may work remotely and come together throughout the year for collaboration, culture-building, learning, and team connection opportunities.
