Responsibilities

Has an entrepreneurial spirit, creating a vision for growth in their personal practice while contributing to the growth of our transportation engineering practice in the local area and beyond.

Aids in marketing and business development efforts with our existing local municipal, state, and private clients, while delivering a wide variety of transportation planning, traffic engineering, and/or ITS-related projects with our growing team of transportation professionals.

Beyond serving our existing clients, has the ability to pursue own passions, project opportunities and clients.

Leadership responsibilities include:

  • Growing and leading a Transportation practice

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
  • At least 15 years of experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, traffic operations, and/or ITS planning and design
  • Registered license (PE and/or TE)
  • Track record of successfully winning and delivering work in Sacramento and surrounding communities
  • Established relationships with local DOT, local agencies, and/or local municipalities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage transportation projects profitably through agency specifications
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills
  • Strong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problems
  • Able to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
  • Able to manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively in a positive manner

Pay

Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $260,000
Eligible for performance-based bonus compensation
