Overview

Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager, Practice Builder to expand their Surface Water practice in St. Petersburg, Florida!

Responsibilities

  • Leads business development efforts
  • Maintains relationships with key clients
  • Oversees all project tasks
  • Mentors the growth of younger staff
  • Pursues opportunities that fuel professional passion and contribute to Kimley-Horn's success
  • Utilizes AutoCAD, GIS, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater planning, storm drain and BMP design
  • Learns and applies resiliency and sustainable infrastructure engineering principles
  • Operates with integrity and sound business principals
  • Provides vision, business planning, and strategy
  • Establishes goals
  • Buils and maintains positive client relationships
  • Communicates openly with partners and team members
  • Grows and leads a Surface Water (Hydraulics/Hydrology) practice

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Civil Engineering and design experience
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • Client contacts and relationships with local municipalities, area counties, water management authorities, and local, regional, state agencies
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills
  • Strong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problems
  • Able to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
  • Manages and mentors staff and directs resources effectively in a positive manner
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably
  • Experience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work
