Responsibilities
The qualified individual will help grow our Ports and Industrial Development team while building and managing relationships with key clients. Leadership responsibilities include:
- Operating with integrity and sound business principles
- Providing vision, business planning and strategy
- Establishing goals
- Building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Having open communication with your partners and team
- Growing and leading a Ports and Industrial Development practice
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of diversified civil engineering experience
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Ability to support complex projects such as port/cargo terminal upland site work and/or industrial development from concept development to preparation of construction documents, permitting and construction administration
- Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
- Able to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
