Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong data governance and data conversion experience to support complex initiatives, primarily within ERP and enterprise system programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive data governance and data conversion initiatives as part of ERP or large-scale system implementations
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring shared understanding of data requirements, ownership, and impacts
- Cook up and manage data-related activities including data discovery, profiling, cleansing, mapping, validation, and reconciliation
- Facilitate collaboration across business data owners, functional leads, technical teams, and third-party vendors
- Develop and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, and risks related to data conversion and governance activities
- Proactively identify issues, gaps, and risks in data readiness and drive resolution
- Manage and hold accountable implementation partners, systems integrators, and third-party vendors supporting data efforts
- Ensure alignment between business rules, data standards, and conversion deliverables
- Provide clear, timely communication and status reporting to business, technical, and leadership stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
- Approximately 8–12 years of experience leading projects or workstreams within complex technology or ERP environments
- Proven experience leading or managing data governance initiatives, including data ownership, standards, policies, and controls
- Hands-on experience driving data conversion efforts for ERP or large-scale system implementations
- Demonstrated ability to translate business data needs into executable plans for technical teams
- Strong experience coordinating across business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors
- Solid project management fundamentals, including planning, dependency management, risk tracking, and issue resolution
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex data concepts for non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating in ambiguous or evolving environments
- Experience working with ERP platforms (Oracle experience strongly preferred)
