Senior Project Manager/New Hampshire Environmental Operations
Core Responsibilities
Direct and oversee the development, delivery, and performance of environmental services, including:
- Lead site assessment and remediation projects under NHDES Contaminated Site Management Rules and Petroleum Remediation Program with a large retail petroleum and bulk storage client base
- Underground Storage Tank (UST) assessment, remediation, and closure Environmental Due Diligence (Phase I & II ESAs)
- Emergency spill response management and support requiring occasional off-hours and weekend work
- Other related environmental services as business needs evolve
Provide technical support in area of expertise to other regional and national staff
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable environmental regulations, codes, standards, and Atlas policies and procedures
Perform or direct QA/QC reviews of reports, proposals, client communications, and regulatory submissions
Project & Financial Management
Manage or oversee environmental projects, ensuring:
- On-time and on-budget delivery
- Compliance with contractual and technical requirements
- Maintenance of project-level profitability and financial performance
Prepare, review, and approve project proposals, cost estimates, scopes of work, and budgets
Utilize strong project management, technical, and business acumen to achieve targets for revenue, margins, cash management, and client satisfaction
Business Development & Client Management
Drive business development activities to maintain backlog and achieve budget and growth goals
Identify, develop, and sustain long-term relationships with commercial, industrial, municipal, and state/local clients
Collaborate with other Atlas service lines and branch groups to identify synergies, cross-selling opportunities, and efficiencies
People Leadership & Talent Development
Lead, manage, and mentor environmental staff, including project managers, scientists, engineers, and technical personnel
Supervise daily activities of project teams to ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, quality, and budget expectations
Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and staff utilization efforts in coordination with branch leadership
