Senior Project Manager - Municipal
About the role
Fehr Graham is a fast-growing Midwest engineering and environmental firm seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience in engineering or environmental engineering. The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance, facilitate project execution, and manage client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential technical guidance and administrative services.
- Facilitate efficient, profitable, and timely project execution.
- Play a key role in business development, from proposal preparation to client relationship maintenance and public relations.
- Oversee projects to ensure success.
- Cook projects, resolving scheduling, staffing, or quality issues.
- Lead project teams, including staff and subconsultants, to deliver results.
- Invoice clients, provide explanations for billed items, and follow up on accounts.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to company standards for online filing and documentation.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis for project write-offs and ensure quality control for assigned projects.
- Communicate technical concepts and ideas to clients and team members.
- Prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Work across multiple disciplines to cross-market services.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of experience in municipal project management.
- Experience in the consulting industry.
- Project Management certification.
- A professional license in your respective discipline.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to speak and write well.
- Team player mentality.

Pay
The base salary (or hourly rate) range for this role is indicated in the posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
Schedule
The position is based in either the West Union or Manchester, Iowa offices and will have leadership responsibilities across both offices.
