Senior Project Manager, Mechanical
Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager is expected to develop and maintain a client base, manage HVAC sales, and manage the field labor needs for each project in conjunction with field leadership. They will use judgement and discretion in representing the company and are expected to show a high level of commitment and involvement with their work and the company’s business.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for ACCO and the customer, holding single-source responsibility for successful project delivery.
- Execute all project management functions from concept engineering and estimating to written proposals and finalized sales.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including procurement, execution, and the oversight of field labor and installation sequencing.
- Direct all financial aspects of projects, including cost control, budget forecasting, billing, and job cost analysis.
- Prepare and manage essential business documentation such as change orders, contracts, and memos to ensure legal protection and procedural integrity.
- Lead internal coordination across engineering, purchasing, and construction departments to ensure all project efforts are completed in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.
- Facilitate effective communication by leading client meetings and participating in internal management, sales, and pre-construction sessions.
- Supervise and mentor staff, contributing to recruiting and training efforts to support department growth and technical advancement.
- Execute special assignments and contribute to technical committees as directed by management to achieve organizational goals.

Education And Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in estimating, design and/or management of HVAC projects from $50,000 to $100+ million
- Must possess & maintain a valid class “c” driver’s license.

- Travel required 20-45% of the time to other office locations and job sites.
Hours
This is an exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor. Work outside of regular hours may occasionally be necessary to meet business needs.
Physical Demands
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

Competitive Wages
Competitive Wages $138,00 to $230,000 annual salary.
