Senior Project Manager, Land Development

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will be directly responsible for projects, working with the team leader to develop plans, specifications, and other contract documents for residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects that include paving, grading, drainage, water lines, sanitary sewers, and other related items.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients
• Oversee project design and manage staff
• Mentor less experienced positions
• Work closely with support staff, clients, and governmental agencies
• Engage in marketing efforts
• Create and submit project reports
• Forecast and manage client invoicing

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida or able to obtain within 6 months
• 10+ years of Land Development experience
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven ability to work independently and make effective decisions
• Desire and ability to interface with clients and governmental agencies
• Experience in commercial or industrial land development is a plus
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus
