Senior Project Manager - IT Operations

Job Title: Project Manager - IT Operations Contract Duration: 2 months, possible extension/conversion Location: Marlborough, MA or Framingham, MA Work Arrangement: Remote (Local Candidates Only) Pay Range: $75 - $84/hr Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage the delivery of IT Operations and Service Desk initiatives, automation, efficiency initiatives and end-user technology deployment of building expansion projects. This role owns planning, coordination, governance, and readiness while partnering with external stakeholders and potentially thirdparty vendor responsible for implementation. As the Client delivery lead, you will ensure internal teams and stakeholders are aligned, vendor execution is effectively coordinated, and leadership has clear visibility into progress, risks, and decisions through executive level reporting. Responsibilities Own planning, execution oversight, and delivery to productionDevelop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, and readiness activitiesCoordinate and track project deliverables, risks, and dependenciesFacilitate cross functional alignment across EUC, Service Desk, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Operations teamsManage RAID and ensure alignment with enterprise governance, security, and compliance standardsProvide clear, consistent status reporting and participate in executive level updatesMaintain project documentation, decision logs, and delivery artifactsLead a cross-functional ServiceNow initiative to improvements for new hire, internal transfer, associate change, and asset lifecycle processesSupport additional operations or service desk initiatives as needed (no people management), such as Tech Bar enhancement proof of concept and implementing a mobile asset tracking and lifecycle process Required Qualifications 8+ years of Project Management experience delivering enterprise technology initiativesPMP certificationExpertise in SAFe Agile and Waterfall methodologiesStrong experience managing the client side of vendor led implementationsProven ability to coordinate cross functional teams and external partnersExperience delivering end user technology delivery and IT service desk AI, automation, digital workplace, or service management solutionsFamiliarity with service desk conversational AI platformsExperience with ServiceNow and Microsoft TeamsStrong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degreeExperience managing proof of concept to pilot to production transitionsBackground in end-user services, digital workplace, or IT operations programs
