Senior Project Manager – Industrial Digitalization & Software Implementation

About the role

The position involves leading complex digital transformation initiatives within industrial environments, focusing on improving efficiency, optimizing processes, and adopting advanced technologies. Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end software implementation projects, coordinating diverse teams, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Requirements

• Strong project management experience within industrial, manufacturing, or technology environments, with the ability to coordinate technical teams and manage complex customer engagements.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and the ability to operate effectively across international and remote teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience managing industrial projects, preferably involving software implementation, automation, process control, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience delivering projects within manufacturing or process industries such as cement, chemicals, refining, mining, pulp and paper, or similar sectors.
• Proven ability to manage international, multidisciplinary, and remote technical teams.
• Strong customer-facing project management experience with demonstrated stakeholder relationship-building skills.
• Excellent planning, organization, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Experience creating project plans, schedules, progress reports, and risk management documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an ownership-driven and proactive approach.
• Professional fluency in English is required. Spanish proficiency is highly preferred for collaboration with Latin American teams and customers.
• Willingness to travel regularly to industrial sites across the United States and Latin America, with occasional international travel for coordination and training.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum is a plus.
• Experience with industrial digitalization, automation, Advanced Process Control (APC), Industrial IoT, MES, SCADA, DCS, historian systems, or industrial analytics platforms is highly valued.
• Experience with B2B SaaS, industrial technology companies, Jira, or similar project management tools is beneficial.
