Senior Project Manager - Industrial

Job Description

This role supports a growing portfolio of industrial and advanced manufacturing projects and offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment focused on delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Primary driver on critical pursuits, responsible for developing and implementing winning strategies for expanding our business and facilitating team growth.
• Build and manage a book of business as Program Manager/Leader, mentoring other PMs into similar roles growing our large client base.
• Foresee and anticipate project issues, provide guidance to mitigate risks.
• Lead and manage industrial facilities projects, including advanced manufacturing, distribution, and process-driven facilities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring project objectives, scope, schedule, and budget are met.
• Cook up multidisciplinary teams, including architectural, engineering, and specialty consultants.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and staffing.
• Support business development efforts, including proposal development and client presentations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with WSP standards.
• Mentor and support junior project managers and technical staff.
• Collaborate closely with regional and national ICoE leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience managing industrial or manufacturing facilities-related projects.
• Proven experience leading project management and multidisciplinary design teams including direct and indirect reporting team members and partners.
• Strong understanding of industrial facilities, manufacturing environments, and building systems.
• Experienced with alternate construction delivery models on greenfield and brownfield industrial projects including new construction, facility and system upgrades, and facility retrofits.
• Excellent client management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Skilled at managing project financials, schedules, and contracts.
• PMP certification or PE license preferred, but not required.

Preferred Experience

• Advanced manufacturing or industrial facilities project experience.
• Experience working with large, complex projects and multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with design-build or alternative delivery methods.

Compensation

Expected Salary: $157,500- $233,600
