Senior Project Manager - Industrial
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Industrial Practice. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional eager to participate in a fast-paced, collaborative team, who can execute and lead all phases of design which include feasibility studies, planning, concept development, detailed design, construction documentation and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead a project and design effort from concept design through start-up
- Participates in preparing marketing materials, site test fits, proposals and participates in sales presentations
- Participates in and coordinates the team’s production of plans, specifications and contract documents
- Manages all client communications and client expectations
- Develops the project workplan, manages project timelines, budget, scope, change and risk throughout the project execution
- Interfaces and coordinates with local authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ’s)
- Reviews, interprets and applies the Building Code in compliance with the application
- Coordinates with financial staff to ensure maintain billing and invoice schedule for their projects and monitors payment status
- Aid in mentoring, training and coordinating work of teammate and junior staff
- Manage and lead the Key Project Management Functions: Opportunities, Projects, Planning and Accounting
Requirements

Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant project management and architectural experience executing industrial & manufacturing all phases of projects including schematic design, design development, QA/QC reviews and permitting assistance, construction documents, contract documents and construction administration services
- Experience designing warehouse, distribution facilities and e-commerce facilities is a high priority
- Experience designing manufacturing and fabrication facilities, coordinating tooling and equipment lines is highly desirable
- Coordination cranes, lifts and material handling equipment
- Exposure to and a working knowledge of a broad range of engineering disciplines including civil/site work, structural, architectural, mechanical systems (refrigeration, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, hot water, domestic water, compressed air, plumbing and HVAC), and electrical power distribution
- Plant engineering experience is a plus
- Execution of projects within an A/E/C design firm
- Developed specifications, interfacing with and coordinating multidisciplinary teams, both on-site and remotely, particularly in private industry
- Facility, utility design projects for manufacturing and distribution clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for formal presentations, maintaining client relationships and interacting with our valued team members
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project
- Experience with AutoCAd, Revit, Bluebeam and specification writing programs (Masterspec, BSD SpecLink)
- Experience with Newforma and Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint desirable
Skills
- Professional Architectural or Engineering licensure is preferred

Pay
National Salary range: $120,000 – $150,000 (compensation factors are based upon years of relevant experience, qualifications/licensure, education, and location).
