Primary Job Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of revenue generation and project execution for a mid-sized Detroit team.
- Obtain new clients through strategic marketing efforts in partnership with local Business Development team.
- Organize and manage a project team, team workload, and project schedules.
- Build effective relationships to drive repeat clients and inspire team member retention.
- Negotiate and finalize the scope and terms of each project.
- Resolve complex technical issues as they arise.
- Identify risk exposures and their order of magnitude.
- Develop project estimates, bids, and proposals on a timely and efficient basis.
- Ensure the flow of project information is maintained and documented.
- Perform all other duties as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Project Management or related field preferred.
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in project management within construction and/or property insurance related fields.
- Enjoys travelling and building comradery with a response team. Willingness to travel +/- 30% of the workweek, including 2-3 team leader events per year.
- Thrive working in a fast-paced environment, both in the office and on project sites, including rooftops.
- Experience working with Xactimate, Bluebeam Revu, and Primavera or MS Projects.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.

- Able to work in inclement weather and various environmental conditions.
Working Conditions
- The team member may be required to work at the site of the property damage, including locations where disasters or catastrophes have previously occurred.
- This team member may be required to work in elevated areas such as roofs or scaffolding, requiring physical agility, and balance.
- During busy periods, this may require evening, overnight, and/or weekend travel and work.
- The work requires close visual acuity, with or without correction, to prepare reports containing words, symbols, and numerical figures; the incumbent is required to view a computer terminal, use a keyboard, read printed documents, make detailed visual inspections, perceive color, perceive depth, and have a sufficient field of vision to carry out all inspection and related duties.
