Senior Project Manager - High Voltage Substation

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager - High Voltage Substation to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track. The position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within a Business Services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of high-voltage substation projects from start to finish
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding project performance
• Translate customer needs into detailed project plans and drive fulfillment across teams
• Develop and manage project schedules to align with factory and customer timelines
• Represent GRID in multi-business governance for program alignment
• Oversee project financials, including margin protection and budget tracking
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
• 5+ years of experience managing high-voltage substation projects
• Proven track record in handling large factory-manufactured HV equipment
• Experience in customer-facing roles with accountability for project scope and budget
• Strong negotiation skills with experience in commercial contracts and claims management
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%)
