Senior Project Manager - High Voltage Power

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager - High Voltage Power to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track. The position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within a Energy & Utilities environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 2-4 active high voltage cable installation projects simultaneously
• Manage onsite labor to ensure safety and project completion on time and under budget
• Update project schedules regularly using MS Project
• Monitor project budgets, addressing operational issues as they arise
• Provide accurate project estimation and conduct site supervision
• Travel up to 75% of the year to oversee various project locations
• Facilitate project meetings and prepare regular status reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of Project Management experience in transmission or distribution
• Experience in high voltage underground cable manufacturing or installation (69KV-400KV)
• Technical knowledge in partial discharge measurements and energized substations
• Proven ability to manage multi-million dollar projects with diverse timelines
