Senior Project Manager - Healthcare
About the role
The Senior Healthcare Project Manager at Shepley Bulfinch is responsible for managing projects involving architectural drawings, client relationships, and construction administration. This position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural projects, with a focus on healthcare facility design. The ideal candidate should be a registered architect or actively pursuing licensure, proficient in healthcare regulations and codes, and experienced in using Revit for architectural documentation.
Responsibilities
- Establish and manage project workplans, including staffing, budget, and schedule
- Lead or assist in the internal production and delivery of architectural drawings
- Interface with clients and lead meetings during the construction administration phase
- Manage and use Revit for architectural documentation
- Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and revise documents in Revit
- Up to 20% travel expected regionally and nationally
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience working on all phases of architectural projects
- Prior experience with healthcare facility design
- B.Arch., M.Arch., or equivalent degree
- Registered architect preferred (actively pursuing licensure acceptable)
- Proficiency in healthcare regulations and codes
- Significant experience managing and using Revit for architectural documentation

- Passionate about design and comfortable explaining design choices
- Collaborative, flexible, and well-rounded
- Strong foundation of technical knowledge and familiarity with both interior and exterior detailing
