About the Team

Solutions Consulting & Engineering (SC&E) is a customer-focused, solutions-led organization delivering end-to-end and emerging solutions to drive customer satisfaction, profitability, and growth. The team combines business acumen with full-stack technical know-how to develop innovative solutions for clients' most complex challenges. SC&E embodies the OneWWT mindset, leveraging talent across the organization to solve customer problems effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple large, complex federal projects with multiple work streams.
  • Create in-depth Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) with interdependencies and a defined critical path.
  • Develop and execute an efficient internal and external communication strategy for all levels of management.
  • Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers and stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Create and maintain resource plans to ensure effective resource allocation and distribution across a portfolio of projects.
  • Utilize project management tools and techniques to improve execution and drive efficiencies.
  • Implement engagement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with WWT’s methodology.
  • Ensure profitable and successful execution of all assigned engagements as measured by regional goals and customer feedback.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope.
  • Effectively create and execute risk management plans.
  • Manage and analyze profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and utilization across projects.
  • Understand and manage key project financial components to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Ensure quality and timely execution of deliverables across projects.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a Technical Infrastructure Project Manager.
  • Experience in a Professional Services or Managed Services environment, with a critical focus on leading external customer-facing projects (not internal operational projects).
  • Highly preferred Federal/DoD background, with the ability to read and interpret government contract awards.
  • Portfolio management experience (multiple work orders).
  • Infrastructure expertise, particularly in Networking (Routing & Switching).
  • Experience with network modernization (network device upgrades) and WAN.
  • GS/IS experience and familiarity with Mainframe (if feasible).
  • Project management experience in Networking, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud, Security, or Collaboration (Unified Communications).
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
  • PMP certification is desired.
  • Understanding of financial processes; ability to understand, analyze, and create financial reports (preferably in Clarity).
  • Extensive experience with people management, strategic planning, and change management.
  • Proven experience with risk management and the ability to communicate appropriately to leadership.
  • Understanding of stakeholder analysis and the ability to utilize its processes.
  • Ability to work independently and aggressively track project timelines.
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with customers and co-workers.
  • Experience in effectively influencing and leading personnel, and the ability to write well-organized business reports.
  • Strong team-building skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software.

Security clearance is strongly desired.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $130,000–$153,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on factors such as shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure, certification, and business needs. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, not included in the base pay.
