Senior Project Manager  ERP/WMS Transformation

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead complex, enterprise-wide business and technology initiatives, focusing on ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations, business transformation, operational excellence, and cross-functional organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise ERP and/or WMS implementation projects from planning through deployment and stabilization.
• Translate executive strategy into actionable project plans, milestones, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
• Manage multiple workstreams, priorities, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations across business and technology teams.
• Drive alignment among cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and external vendors.
• Facilitate executive-level discussions, steering committees, and decision-making sessions.
• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and execution challenges.
• Ensure initiatives remain aligned with business objectives, operational priorities, and organizational goals.
• Drive organizational change efforts, stakeholder engagement, and adoption strategies.
• Establish project governance, accountability, communication plans, and performance metrics.
• Provide regular updates to executive leadership regarding project status, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of project/program management experience leading complex enterprise initiatives.
• 5+ years leading geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams in large organizations.
• Proven experience leading ERP implementations, ERP workstreams, and/or WMS deployment projects.
• Experience managing enterprise business transformation programs from initiation through execution.
• Strong track record partnering directly with executive leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Experience influencing outcomes within highly matrixed organizations.
• Experience driving organizational change and business process improvement initiatives.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field - MBA or Master's Degree - preferred.
• PMP Certification (Required).
• Experience within Supply Chain, Distribution, Manufacturing, Retail, Food Service, or Logistics industries - preferred.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or similar ERP/WMS solutions - preferred.
• ITIL Foundation certification - preferred.
• Prosci, CCMP, or other Change Management certification - preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies - preferred.

Qualifications

• You may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.

Skills

• Strong ERP/WMS implementation experience.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale transformation initiatives in complex environments.
