Overview

Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is seeking a Project Manager for its Chicagoland offices. The Energy/Solar team performs a variety of civil engineering tasks and offers on-the-job and formal training.

Responsibilities

  • Work on projects including Solar site Design
  • Utility scale solar projects
  • Project Due Diligence and Site Constraints
  • Jurisdictional Permitting and Agency Coordination
  • Client Management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 7+ years of prior civil engineering experience working with a professional design firm
  • PE certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and/or GIS
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
  • Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Salary Range: Base Salary $120,000-$180,000

Eligible for performance-based bonus compensation
