Overview
Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is seeking a Project Manager for its Chicagoland offices. The Energy/Solar team performs a variety of civil engineering tasks and offers on-the-job and formal training.
Responsibilities
- Work on projects including Solar site Design
- Utility scale solar projects
- Project Due Diligence and Site Constraints
- Jurisdictional Permitting and Agency Coordination
- Client Management

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 7+ years of prior civil engineering experience working with a professional design firm
- PE certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and/or GIS
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
- Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Pay
Salary Range: Base Salary $120,000-$180,000
Eligible for performance-based bonus compensation
