About the role
Bolton & Menk, a top regional consulting engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Energy to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals and make a significant impact on the communities we serve.
Responsibilities
- Lead the pursuit and delivery of energy sector projects such as renewable energy (solar, wind) generation sites, battery storage sites, and electric transmission and gas pipeline projects.
- Manage complex and/or multi-service energy projects while growing and leading this newly established practice at Bolton & Menk.
- Cultivate new client relationships in dynamic markets for energy projects to position for growth of our business in the market.
- Utilize expertise on energy project management, energy assessment, and design and construction activities.
- Work with contractors and owners to develop innovative approaches to project delivery.
- Lead junior staff and promote the growth of their technical skills.
Requirements
- 12 or more years of progressive experience managing energy or related projects.
- Familiar with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices for energy projects.
- Experience with business development, project management, and proposal development.
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with energy companies and relevant industry partners such as engineers, developers, planners, real estate agents, environmental specialists, and attorneys.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) is desired, but not required.
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
