Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of the project life cycle, including conception, definition, execution, and closure.
  • Manage public work construction, municipal construction, government construction, and federal construction projects.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
  • Interface with builders, contractors, architects, engineers, and city and county officials regularly.
  • Manage project budget, including risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure the project's alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines and share them with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status.
  • Manage risks and resolve issues that affect project scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 8+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the Construction industry, specifically in public work construction, municipal construction, government construction, and federal construction.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

Pay

$120,000 - $155,000 per year
