Responsibilities
- Oversee all stages of the project life cycle, including conception, definition, execution, and closure.
- Manage public work construction, municipal construction, government construction, and federal construction projects.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
- Interface with builders, contractors, architects, engineers, and city and county officials regularly.
- Manage project budget, including risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure the project's alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines and share them with key stakeholders.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status.
- Manage risks and resolve issues that affect project scope, schedule, and budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 8+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the Construction industry, specifically in public work construction, municipal construction, government construction, and federal construction.
- Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness.
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
Pay
$120,000 - $155,000 per year
