About the Role

The Senior Project Manager position supports all phases of the eDiscovery lifecycle through sophisticated workflows and technology-assisted review (TAR) processes. Candidates must possess a strong working knowledge of corporate IT enterprise technology and experience collaborating with client IT departments to implement preservation and collection strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with disputes lawyers, clients, and colleagues to implement and deliver high-quality eDiscovery solutions from collection through review and production.
  • Consult with lawyers and corporate IT professionals to develop identification, preservation, and collection protocols.
  • Assist lawyers in developing effective data culling and filtering strategies using search term calibration, data analytics, and TAR.
  • Recommend strategies for eDiscovery projects, including design and implementation of review workflows across various review platforms.
  • Support document review projects and generate and analyze daily productivity metrics.
  • Monitor and remain apprised of case law developments in electronic discovery and emerging litigation technology.
  • Collaborate with and mentor the team’s project analysts.

Professional Development

  • Learn from industry leaders and lawyers in the Firm’s Information Governance, Cyber, and eDiscovery practices.
  • Participate in SMART goal initiatives aimed at developing and achieving career objectives.

Location

The role is ideally based in Texas but can be located in any U.S. city where the firm has an office. Flexibility to visit the office for training or meetings is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of eDiscovery project management and technology experience.
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 9 years of relevant eDiscovery project management and technology experience.
  • Extensive experience executing continuous active learning and TAR strategies.
  • Experience with Nuix and Relativity preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, handling multiple projects with consistently high-quality results.
  • Willingness to provide after-hours and weekend support as necessary.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to train, manage, and delegate tasks to project analysts and project managers.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under rigorous deadlines in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem identification, and resolution skills.
  • Proven dedication to work product quality and client service.
  • Ability to measure and anticipate time, costs, and risks associated with project tasks.
