About the role
Suffolk is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for all project administration, including contractual requirements, change order management, and project closeout.
Responsibilities
- Budget Updates: Produce forecasts, track costs, and manage exposure risks.
- Change Order Management: Track PCOs, prepare status reports, and manage contract allowances.
- Project Close Out: Implement a close-out plan, manage cash flow, and ensure compliance.
- Meeting Management: Establish meeting regiments and manage agendas.
- Subcontractor Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with Subcontractors.
- Purchasing Process: Ensure clear and thorough scopes of work and organize the purchasing process.
- Schedule Management: Lead the creation and distribution of schedules, and manage procurement.
- Risk Management: Complete the buy-out process, write notices, and address non-performing Subcontractors.
- Quality Management: Lead the implementation of the Quality Management Program and manage inspections.
- Team Leadership: Foster a positive team environment and mentor team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Excellent business judgment and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze financial trade-offs and manage competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with project management software like Oracle and Expedition.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
