About the role

The Senior Project Manager will plan, organize, and manage assigned data center power generation projects, including Jenbacher engine installations and balance of plant (BOP) infrastructure, ensuring successful completion on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams for data center power generation projects, including Clarke Energy engineering staff, subcontractors, and site personnel.
  • Conduct routine site walks and leadership meetings to ensure safety compliance and real-time schedule alignment.
  • Manage overall project performance and delivery against contractual timelines, scope, and quality standards.
  • Organize and facilitate regular internal coordination meetings and one-to-one sessions with key team members to monitor progress, resolve issues, and keep the project on track.
  • Provide training and mentorship opportunities for team members to improve performance and project delivery capabilities.
  • Liaise with data center clients and developers to interpret project goals, resolve issues, and advise leadership on contractual deviations.
  • Negotiate and agree on project milestones, critical path activities, and commercial terms with client representatives.
  • Develop and manage detailed construction and commissioning schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
  • Partner with the Finance Director to forecast and track project costs, payment milestones, and revenue recognition aligned with contract obligations.
  • Ensure all projects are executed in strict compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
