About the Role

This role is responsible for the overall planning, directing, and coordination of project activities and resources for assigned projects regarding our Public Safety products. These projects may involve the implementation of software, hardware, and services. You will ensure the successful on-time completion of projects while managing interactions between internal departments, clients, and vendors. This role works with minimal supervision and directly impacts project team productivity, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. You will serve as the primary client contact throughout software implementation projects.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, plans, executes, controls, and closes projects.
• Assembles the project team, assigns responsibilities, identifies resources, and develops schedules to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinates and leads internal and customer-facing project status calls.
• Serves as a subject-matter expert on the implementation process and contractual language.
• Manages issues and risks on projects, escalating to management as needed.
• Leads technical discussions between product and operations teams to drive process improvements for specific modules.
• Works on the most challenging and large-scale projects with minimal supervision.
• Assists other Project Managers with escalations when needed.
• Leads large group meetings on process and product.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills with a customer service focus.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
• B.A. or B.S. Degree; PMP and/or CSM certifications preferred.
• Advanced skills in project management and implementation processes and methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing complex teams and clients while driving seamless collaboration.
• Proven track record contributing to, creating, and implementing project management processes and methodologies.
• Advanced experience and proficiency in deploying, configuring, and/or managing PM tools for schedules, milestones, risks, issues, forecasts, and revenue.
• Ability to comfortably and effectively present to audiences of various sizes.
• Ability to manage a strategic portfolio, including high-revenue engagements, with little to no supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

CJIS Clearance

A required part of the onboarding process for this role involves obtaining CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) clearance—a critical credential for safeguarding public safety data. CentralSquare will support you through the process to secure this clearance if selected for hire. A comprehensive background check will be conducted, and U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is generally required to obtain CJIS clearance.
